These Terms of Service govern access to https://www.wearrivt.com and purchases from RIVT.

RIVT is a trading name of TRACKSONHIRE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13058446. Our registered office is 9 Victoria Road, Victoria Road, Fulwood, Preston, England, PR2 8ND.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked on the website.

1. Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to place an order without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when using the website or placing an order.

You must not:

  • Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

  • Attempt unauthorised access to the website, accounts or systems.

  • Introduce malicious software or interfere with website security.

  • Misuse another person's information.

  • Infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights.

  • Use automated systems in a manner that damages or disrupts the website.

2. Products and descriptions

We take reasonable care to describe and display products accurately.

The relevant product page states the product's materials, finish, dimensions, stones, colours, quantities and included components.

Natural stones, hand-finished surfaces and manufacturing batches can have minor variations in colour, pattern or texture. Lighting and screen settings may also affect how colours appear.

Minor natural or visual variation does not permit us to supply a materially different product. Contact us under our Returns and Refunds Policy if a product is materially different from its description, damaged, faulty or incorrect.

3. Product availability

Products are subject to availability.

RIVT works with third-party suppliers and fulfilment partners. We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate availability information, but stock may occasionally become unavailable after an order is placed.

If we cannot supply a purchased product, we will contact you and provide an appropriate replacement option where available or cancel and refund the affected product.

We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

4. Prices and currency

Prices are displayed in United States dollars unless expressly stated otherwise.

Applicable discounts, delivery charges and taxes will be shown at checkout before payment.

We may change prices before an order is placed. Price changes do not affect an accepted order unless an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred.

If we discover an obvious pricing or product-information error after an order is submitted, we may contact you for instructions or cancel and refund the affected product. We will not charge a higher price without your agreement.

5. Payment

Payment is processed securely through Shopify and the payment methods displayed at checkout.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method selected.

An order may be delayed, refused or cancelled if payment is declined, reversed or identified as potentially fraudulent.

6. Orders and acceptance

An order-confirmation email acknowledges that we received your order. It does not necessarily mean that fulfilment has begun or that the order has been accepted.

We may refuse or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including:

  • Payment failure.

  • Suspected fraud or unauthorised activity.

  • Product unavailability.

  • An obvious pricing or listing error.

  • Delivery restrictions.

  • A material breach of these Terms.

If we cancel a paid order, the affected amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

7. Fulfilment

RIVT works with vetted third-party suppliers and fulfilment providers. Products may be prepared and dispatched from different locations.

Orders containing multiple products may arrive in separate packages. Further information appears in our Shipping Policy.

8. Shipping and delivery

Processing times, delivery estimates, shipping charges and tracking information are explained in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly described as guaranteed.

Customers are responsible for supplying a complete and accurate delivery address.

If we cannot dispatch within the promised timeframe, we will notify you and provide the choice to accept a revised timeframe or cancel the affected unshipped products for a full refund.

9. Returns, refunds and cancellations

Return eligibility, exclusions, return shipping costs, refunds and cancellation requests are governed by our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Personalised products and earrings

Personalised, engraved, customised or made-to-order products cannot normally be returned for a change of mind.

Pierced earrings cannot normally be returned after a hygiene seal has been broken or the product has been worn.

These restrictions do not remove remedies for products that arrive faulty, damaged or incorrect.

11. Jewellery use and care

Follow the material and care information shown on the relevant product page and our Jewellery Care Guide.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, avoid prolonged exposure to water, sweat, perfume, lotions, harsh chemicals, cleaning products and impact.

Small jewellery components can present a choking hazard and must be kept away from young children and pets.

Stop using jewellery that becomes damaged, develops a sharp edge or causes irritation. Individual sensitivities vary.

12. Promotions and discount codes

Promotions may have separate dates, eligibility requirements, exclusions and minimum-spend conditions.

Unless stated otherwise, discount codes:

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Cannot be applied after an order has been placed.

  • Cannot be combined with another code.

  • May exclude selected products or delivery charges.

13. Reviews and submitted content

If you submit a review, photograph, suggestion or other content, you confirm that:

  • The content is accurate and based on a genuine experience.

  • You have the right to provide it.

  • It is lawful and does not infringe another person's rights.

You grant RIVT a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display submitted content for store operation and marketing, subject to applicable privacy law.

We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, irrelevant or infringes another person's rights. We will not suppress a genuine review merely because it is negative.

14. Intellectual property

The RIVT name, branding, website layout, original text, graphics, photographs and designs are owned by or licensed to RIVT and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

The website may be used for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. Content may not be copied, sold, republished or commercially exploited without written permission, except where permitted by law.

15. Third-party services

Our website may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment processors, carriers, analytics providers and social platforms.

Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms and policies.

16. Website availability

We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and available. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every technical error will be corrected immediately.

We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security or operational reasons.

17. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or mandatory consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by law, RIVT is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the relevant contract was formed.

Where liability can lawfully be limited, RIVT's total liability relating to an individual product order will not exceed the amount paid for the affected order.

18. Governing law

These Terms and any non-contractual disputes are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you retain the benefit of mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply in your state or country of residence. Nothing in this section prevents a court with mandatory jurisdiction from hearing a dispute.

19. Severability

If any section of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

20. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal obligations.

The current version and updated date will be published on this page. A change will not retroactively alter an order already accepted unless required by law or agreed with you.
